Home Additions & High-End Remodelingin Northern California

An addition is two projects wearing one permit: new construction, and stitching it invisibly into a house built decades ago. Rooflines, floor heights, siding, and systems all have to marry up — that's the craft. We build room additions, second stories, and whole-home remodels across the Central Valley.

Common Questions

Home Additions FAQs

Addition or ADU — which adds more value?+

Depends on the goal. Rental income or multi-generational independence: ADU. More space in the main living envelope: addition. We build both and will run the comparison for your lot honestly.

Can we live in the house during an addition?+

Almost always. The new space builds outside your walls; the disruptive tie-in happens in a planned, compressed window near the end.

Will the addition look 'added on'?+

Not if it's designed right — matching foundations, rooflines, windows, and stucco/siding texture is exactly the detail work we're picky about.
